I will be offering free lessons on Wednesdays at 11:30 prior to the game. Lessons begin August 9th and end September 6th. Theme of the lessons: “practice thinking like a bridge player”. We will think out loud using samples of bidding, opening leads, declarer play, defense, and signaling problemsI will be posting sample exercises here over the next couple of weeks. Hope you will join me for some fun brainstorming sessions.

Sample 3 You are declarer in six spades. Here is what you see after lead of the ace of clubs (ace from ace-king):

After East signals encouragement, West continues with the king of clubs.
